DHS&EM Public Assistance "Conference" for DOT Project Managers
Description

Under certain disaster declarations FEMA is authorize to provide assistance to state and local governments and certain nonprofit organizations for emergency work and the repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities.

Objectives / Topics

The Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will provide a program overview as a lead-in for the discussion on how to resolve frequent issues resulting from lack of documentation or Design and Engineering cost overruns, among other common challenges with closeout, using case study examples.

Target Audience

DOT project managers and select consultant staff.
