Research Symposium 2017

Organized by the Alaska DOT&PF Research Development and Technology Transfer, this symposium will be a collaborative event that presents the latest in published Alaska transportation research on a wide range of topics including: Traffic & Safety, Materials, Bridges & Structures, Environmental, Hydrology & Hydraulics, and Construction & Maintenance.  In addition, there will be opportunities to collaborate among partners regarding current research needs for both the transportation industry and Alaska DOT&PF. Included are poster sessions and break-outs to network.

Wednesday, Nov. 8th: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

Objectives / Topics

Speakers will give presentations on recent relevant transportation research and there will be lightening round discussions with transportation experts to spur collaboration and innovative research ideas for the upcoming 2018,19 Alaska DOT&PF research program cycles. Agenda to follow


Target Audience

Federal, State, and local transportation agencies, academia and others involved in the planning, design, construction, maintenance and review of transportation projects or research elements.
